Fun Events For Dancers and Their Families

OFFSET EXPENSES FOR TRAINING

• Host Practice Dress Rehearsal before major competitions H

• Offset masterclass/workshop costs 

• Award Travel Scholarships to dancers representing Murray Academy at North American, International, and World Championships

• Help defray expenses on an as-needed basis, such as new team costumes

MEMBER-RUN BENEFITS AND DANCER SUPPORT

• Coordinate a used shoe sales program

• Rent practice rooms at major competitions

• Provide Senior a small gift for each graduating senior

• Host Practice Feis for Beginners and Advanced Beginners

• Organize and Run the Murray Academy Feis (May) and  the Murray Academy Winter Feis (January

 

COMMUNITY BUILDING

• Family fall event at a fun cornmaze

• St Patrick’s Day celebrations and performances in the community

• Oireachtas Pep Rally and Nationals Send-off Party 

• Hosting Pep Rally/Send Off Events for Regionals and Nationals dancers

 

STUDIO & FEIS SUPPORT

• Maintain insurance to host our feiseanna safely

• Maintain registration and insurance for our feis trailer 

• Purchase feis flooring, dance-out flooring, and other equipment needed

• Pay operational costs for the booster group, such as QuickBooks, taxes, etc.

• Pay for dance-out equipment (mics, speakers, backpacks, etc.)
